Cards for the shop :)

Hullo!!!

Well, in between spins and whirls and falling over and climbing up again :) I managed to finish some cards for my shop. I've just added these:

The ballerina card from my last post is also in the shop, as well as packs of my cat portrait notelets in packs of 5, for example, these:

*** *** *** *** ***

Info on prices and payment (because I've been asked about this in emails!):

  • The average price is about $3(US) but all postage and packing is free, anywhere in the world. I have to list prices in $ as it is a US site, but if you want to see the prices in another currency, go to the bottom of the shop's page and click on the flag of your choice.
  • You can pay in any currency. Paypal will convert it and any charge goes to me, not you.
  • You don't need a Paypal account to pay via Paypal- for me to invoice you in Paypal all I need is your email.
  • Alternately you could send me a cheque. Just email me.

Here is a link to my shop.

Sorry for the blatant commercialism. LOL!

Cute cards! I like the one with the kitty's reading...awww!!! Fabulous colors!

oh, scraplifting can be described as snagging someone else's scrapbooking ideas and using them for your layouts. I scraplift all the time from magazines, books, tutorials, blogs, etc. especially if I'm learning a new technique.

I love your wee hedgehog cards - such sweet designs.

To answer your question - I've only once been through Ballybofey, and not stopped to shop (or even for a coffee :( !) Must do that one day.

Crafty Goat Girl,
Those hedgehogs are so popular! Even in Ireland, where I thought the religious ones would go more, it was the hedgehog cards that I sold most of at Christmas!!!
We have one in a hibernation box in the garden but he hasn't popped his nose out yet I hope he's ok!

Julie,

They are going slowly- Maybe somewhere like Etsy or FOlksy would be better, more well known, but they charge and this shop doesn'!!!
I have sold a few in the last few weeks, mostly to USA customers :)

Candy,

thanks for the info re scraplifting! I hadn't come across that term yet :) I suppose that's a bit like when we follow a layout in a card challenge.

Angel,

On the notelets, the cat portraits, yes these are my own pencil sketches of cats. Maybe I should try to draw you? :) black cats are more of a challenge to draw!

With the other cards, the images are from rubber stamps- stamped in India ink then water-coloured with paint or water-colour pencils. SOme people use special art pens instead and I've bought some recently but I think I still prefer the paints!

Debbie- thanks for the link! Oh dear this means I know of another online craft shop :)

Steph, thank you!!!

Sandi, LOL!! Thank you!!!

Linda (Pink Lilac) I love Frost. But especially the book versions he is so rude! LOL!!!

Lady Jane Grey- the only film I've seen is where she is played by a very young Helens Bonham Carter- is that the one you mean? I was still at school, or just after, I think, when I saw that and I was very moved. It's such a sad story.

Have you been to the Tower OF London and seen where she engraved her name into the wall of her cell? I haven't been yet but it's on my must-do list :)

Dragonstar- LOL re Ballybofey.
Yes, those hogs are very popular!!! I hope our one is ok- he has yet to poke a nose out of his hibernation box.

Mrs Mac said...

Donna, thanks! I do worry about the colouring!

Lori, thank you! Kitties are my favourite as you may have noticed!

Hi Helena, and glad that you managed to open the photos on my site! Your blog is really interesting and inspirational - I shall visit you often. As others have already said, your colouring on the images is beautiful. I used to paint pet portraits when I first started to make a living from my art...I found it quite stressful as the pet owners wated to see, not just the likeness of their pet, but also its' personality, in the painting. I usually got it right, but it was always a scary moment when I did the big "reveal"! We also share a love of cats and nature, looking at your photographs. All the best to you, Lindsay x

Hi Helena! I love the kitty cards! (of course.) One looks like my beloved Tookie.
How are you feeling? I can't believe you have a virus in your inner ear! How awful honey! You just need to rest and not worry about getting things done, which is easier said, I know. I'm sure the ENT doctor will figure things out.
Take care okay?
Gentle Hugs,
Lorianna
