Patchwork flowers and someone, stop spinning the room!

Daring Cardmakers have a challenge this week based on PATCHWORK. -Any theme, so long as it inspires you to make a patchwork looking card. Here's my attempt:

Sewing the paper was nice and relaxing. I haven't felt well this week so it was nice to sit and quietly sew.

Any nursey types out there?!
This started Monday when I woke up with a migraine. I was so dizzy I actually fell over. Migraine medication has taken away the headache part, but not the dizziness. Every now and then the room swims around and I feel wooooooooooaaaaaarrrr...... I've never been so dizzy. Ever! Thinking is a lot slower too :) and I keep having to go and lie down because if I'm upright too long I feel like I'm going to pass out.

Hmmm. That all sounds like low blood pressure doesn't it. Hmmmm. I wonder...

That card would make a good quilt pattern. I have spells of dizziness from time to time and Don't know to do for them either!

Great card but the dizziness sounds yucky. Maybe a trip to the doc's is needed? Could be an ear infection or touch of vertigo which is horrible. Hope you feel much better soon.

low blood pressure maybe OR an ear infection...those can make you VERY dizzy...i would have that checked out if the dizziness continues...

mr madison said thank you very much for saying he is gorgeous...he already knows it, but loves to hear it anyway:)

Hmmm yesss.... my ears ARE blocked. The right one has been blocked for years- reduced hearing there, but can't get it to pop. The left one has only been blocked since the cold I had in January.

I've had decongestants and steam inhalation but it doesn't do it. I'm afraid if I go to the doc they'll either suggest these, which I've already done, or just wave me away saying, oh it's just a virus.

I don't have must faith in them do I? LOL!

But I might give them a call tomorrow....

It is VERY annoying and is stopping me doing anything very much. I feel just yuck all the time.

Hi love! I can't believe I've not been here this month!
I've just been back through all your posts since my last visit. So much has been happening! You have a great wee craft room, you've made beautiful cards, you've photographed a wonderful old church surrounded by crocuses.
And you've not been well. As Lori says, ear infection is a possibility, as well as low blood pressure. Get checked. Having said that, some migraines can have horrible and unexpected effects. The only good thing is that they go away again!
Take care of yourself love!

Helen this is amazing!! Sorry to hear about your dizziness, I suffer from it now and then , think what I have is BPPV (or summat like that) and it's horrible. I crashed the car once when an attack came on suddenly. x

Love the stitches!! What neat work! The buttons at the corner are so cute.

Sorry to hear about your dizziness. Open the window and take deep breath of fresh air sometimes. Breath in deep and let it out slow.

Sweet fruit juices or honey drinks help too. Or honey in your tea. Yucks?

Get well soon.
