"Sketch Saturday" challenge

Click on the logo for the site that this challenge comes from- see lots of examples both on the latest post and by following the links in the comments there.

Here is this week's layout sketch:
And here is my interpretation:
I like the cute House Mouse stamp. And given the soppy pose I cut some hearts out of the brown glitter paper too :)
Sources:
Image: House Mouse stamp, coloured with water colour pencils and water brush.
Glittery bits cut from an A4 sheet of brown glitter paper, 99p from my local craft shop, no brand name on it, sorry.
Faux stitches with a white Sakura Souffle pen.
Papers all from DCWV 2007 Xmas Scrap Pack.
Red fibre sheet from a pack of 5 mixed A4 sheets from Tesco £2.50
Ribbon, from a local haberdashery, 50p for 10m.
Sentiment typed and printed out onto card.
Circles cut by hand- drew around a plate, a cup and the outside of the sellotape roll :)

Now! Here's another card, this one just for fun :)

I love this stamp from Little Clare. I haven't used it enough so far!
I stamped it onto beige card and coloured with water-colour pencils and a water brush. Then I cut it out and stuck it on to some paper that looks like a picture of a night sky. The original sheet is enormous and made by Craft Creations- called Wintery Sky. I think I got that from Little Clare, too.
The swirls round the edges are drawn with a glue pen, then I've sprinkled & heated embossing powder on it, one called "Tinsel", which is a mixture of white and glitter. The writing is done with a glue pen and then some glitter that came free with a magazine :) I glittered the star and halo too. So I shall be washing glitter off my skin, carpet and clothes for the next 10 days.

Two wonderful cards, Helena. I'm a fan of Little Claire designs too but I never think of using them. I will now. Your top card has given me an idea for a card so I am off to Tesco to get that red fibre paper. Thank-you.

I'm laughing at your glitter dilemma :O) Love both of your cards, Helena! You are so talented...I don't think I would trust myself to hand-write the sentiment. You did a fantastic job though! I'm having some people over next weekend for a Christmas Card workshop, so I've been busy this weekend preparing for it. I didn't have an opportunity to do the Sketch Saturday challenge. Maybe tomorrow though...

Lovely work as usual :]

Oh those are so, so pretty! Excellent work Helena. Tomorrow is your Birthday! I sent you a card several weeks ago and now I'm fretting terribly about you not getting it! It's not as professional and gorgeous as your cards by any means, but I so wanted to make you one. I sent out the Christmas cards to you today and now, I'm freaking out worrying if they will get there in time!
I have been catching up with your posts. I have always thought of Bi Polar as sometimes being like Tigger and sometimes being like Eyore. Very simplistic I know. As someone with depression and anxiety I am a mix of Eyore and Piglet. I think being Tigger half the time wouldn't be so bad except for the heart racing part. You are a very brave woman to talk about it so candidly. It's a very good service to inform others and it's good for you to let it all out.
Take Care and Big Hugs,
Lorianna
