First concertina card & first pop-up

I'd seen people do these but these are my first...

I had lots of small images ready to go, so I decided to combine them into one big card.
Here is the front:
Here's the concertina opened out:Some close-ups of the images (all stamped and watercoloured):
And here is the back:
So!
Over to the first pop-up card...
Here is the front:
....and here is the inside:***

STILL no answer from the Art Cafe. It's a week since I dropped my cards in to them. I emailed them yesterday too. Waah. Getting so I just want to no, yes or no, now. And I want my cards back if the answer is no!!! Starting to have panicky thoughts: like, what if they lost them??? Oh Help!!!!!

The Art Café is taking its time! Don't they realise we're all waiting?

I used to make pop-up cards for my kids, but I don't know if I can remember how. I've never seen a concertina card like that - it's beautiful! I love the way you present things.

Maybe the Art Cafe delay is a GOOD thing...like your cards are seriously being considered as a new line to sell! They could have turned you down flat right off the bat if they didn't like them. I know it's frustrating though...especially when you're nervous about the outcome! I can't wait to hear what happens...

Love your Concertina and pop-up card! Simply gorgeous!! You have a wonderful collection of images...and your watercoloring is amazing!

How do you leave the Secret Santa post at the top of your blog? Do you have to change the date every time you post something different? I wanted to do the same thing for the post I have on my blog about Alicia Weiman's little boy...but I'm not sure how :[

I love both your projects especially the concertina card. It is just beautiful! You asked me about my SS card this week. It didn't really take that much time. I did the coloring while watching Desperate Housewives last Sunday. Kinda funny when you look at what I was coloring! Hugs Jeanette

Oh, Helena, I just love those cards! I have been admiring different techniques like that too.
My fingers have been sore beyond belief since Thursday. I'm finally getting some relief today.
I saw that very crafting magazine in a Barnes and Noble bookstore. I immediately thought of you and wondered if you read it. :) Maybe the world isn't so big? Just think we could be reading the same articles while drinking our tea. :)
Your stained glass drawings are just too cool! It's such a gift to be able to draw free hand like that. I hope the Art Cafe recognizes your talent.
Well, better rest my fingers. I hope you are having a spiff weekend. Oh, I told Cricket she is cheeky and she just gazed at me and laid her ears back slightly. :)
Hugs,
Lorianna

As far as I can see, the Art Cafe are in a win/win situation by stocking your cards.
As Kristin said, if they didn't want to stock them they would have said 'no' straight off.
Be of good cheer, my friend!
