Madonna & Child - end result

.... scroll down to the next post to see what I found at the book fair :) ....

Here's how the Madonna & Child drawing turned out:

..... in the end I drew it again for card use, simplifying the lines even more. I got the idea of putting her inside an arched window from a design I saw somewhere in parchment craft.
I am *really* happy with this one!

Thanks, CP :)

This is one of the cards I put in to the shop that asked to view some. I really like this one.... I hope I don't have such a dip if I'm rejected again. This time I've asked for feedback......

Oh so pretty! I am not finding Christmas themed rubber stamps in the craft store very easily. Maybe I'm not looking in the right spot.
It's so neat that you can just draw free hand like that. Think of the money you save on rubber stamps. Hmm, if you could get a laser cutter and lots of rubber you could make your own... As if laser cutter are so easy to buy! Really though, that would be pretty cool.
Oh, I love books! You bought a nice assortment. Eats, shoots, leaves is so funny and really helpful.
Thanks for the e-mail. I hope I can make a decent card. This person is pretty talented and well, I'm not! :)
I hope your week is as lovely as busy like it sounds. Don't tire yourself!
Hugs,
Lorianna

Helena, don't forget some stamp companies pay for drawings of images from people to produce new rubber stamps. Your work is lovely!

This is a very beautiful rendering!

In addition to this beautiful rendering I could see this printed on tissue paper and colored in vibrant reds and blues and then applied to a pillar candle with a heat gun. Would be gorgeous!
