Keeping me out of mischief....

I've lost count of how many loads of washing I've done this week! Our washing machine broke down on 17th July, and the replacement only arrived last Friday. Getting the backlog washed is one thing, trying to get it all dry when outside is gale force winds and torrential rain has been... a challenge! It's all been hanging up everywhere, all over the house! I'm on my own this week, too, so, in between basket-fulls, I've been relaxing and pootling.....

First, a "Thank you" card:A plain brown notebook stayed still too long and I got it:This one I made for my God-daughter. I wanted to send her a wee note as she lost her favourite toy this week: "MooCoo" had been with her since she was a few months old. She is now 9 and inconsolable to have lost him in a shop. Waah! Not sure either photo shows it very well, but you get the idea. I love this stamp!I left this one blank but I suppose it could be Christmas card.... I just liked playing with the image and the crochet flowers...
This is definitely a Christmas card! Using the same stamp I used in the Saturday Sketch challenge earlier this week:
Ah well! It keeps me out of mischief!

I've enjoyed playing :^)

Ms Creek,

Yes, it's ALL done now! Yippee! I ended up going around looking for stuff. I even washed mine and K's fleece jackets. We'll need them next week when we're out walking the hills in the pouring rain. LOL!

As for layouts, I look at my papers and ribbon and stamps and stuff and mix and match to see what goes together. What comes out depends on my mood!

loved seeing all the cards.. I have some pretty papers...but just haven't gotten 'round to much with paper ..yet. Still doing mostly the needle felted things these days...but when it is winter months...there will be plenty of hours in the house...and then...I will have to try one or more crafts.

This week I am trying to find my golf swing...wish I had painted it bright red or something... maybe I'd have better luck. Think I have to go back for a refresher lesson or five .....

I just read your ideas using watercolour pencils. :) So, that's how you do it! I love ribbons and pretty papers too. The cards you made are so pretty. Oh, I see Karla and Miss Peachie Poo came by! They are so dear. Wouldn't it be nice to all get together for tea and crafting? I'll imagine that and smile.
Hugs,
Lorianna

Beautiful cards and look how you transformed that plain old notebook. My goodness, dear, you will never have time to get into mischief with all you have going on... and it's all good and wholesome fun.
